HLK DINOJENGI (born 2014-2016)
Dinojengi is a player group within HLK’s afternoon tennis program aimed at providing enthusiastic players with more opportunities to play and practice. The group focuses on participating in important events such as the club’s local competitions and partner club HVS’s team competitions. Additionally, Dinojengi aims to take its first steps in national tournaments. The activities of Dinojengi are available both in Meilahti and Tapiola.

Coaching
The goal of our coaching is to enhance players’ tennis skills and provide opportunities for increased play during practice sessions. The training focuses on various game situations encountered in tennis and includes exercises to improve technical abilities as well as recognition and learning of tactical scenarios. The primary aim for players is to develop their skills to participate effectively in mini and midi tennis tours, as well as other national competitions.
Coaching times
Preliminary practice times for the 2024-2025 season are as follows:
Monday: 3 PM – 5 PM at Meilahti
Wednesday: 3 PM – 5 PM at Tapiola
Friday: 3 PM – 4:30 PM at Meilahti
For Dinojengi players born in 2014, there is also an opportunity for morning practice sessions on Thursdays.
Application Criterias
When making selections, we especially consider activity in game events. We also emphasize the junior’s enthusiasm for the sport and eagerness to learn new things. The amount of spots are limited.
Prices
In Dinojengi:
For players born in 2016, practices are 2-3 times a week.
For players born in 2014-2015, practices are 3-4 times a week.
- Season Fee: €2700 (2 practices 3.5 hours/week)
- Season Fee: €4000 (3 practices 5.5 hours/week)
- Season Fee: €5000 (4 practices 7 hours/week)
The season fee also includes 2 weeks of camp activities.
(Group suitability will be reassessed halfway through the season.) - Additional charges for membership, extra camps, and competition trips.
